Mentoring – Everything You Need to Know about IAS Academy’s Open-Source Support

Why Mentoring Works

IAS Mentoring places a panel of world-class experts at your fingertips to collaborate on ortho-restorative case selection, diagnosis, planning and treatment.

Mentors are available to answer questions and provide advice and support on any orthodontic system during any stage of treatment.

Mentoring is one of the safest and most effective tools for boosting clinical confidence and expanding your orthodontic skill-set.

How does it work?

Mentoring takes the form of an online support forum staffed by a dedicated team made of some of the most skilled and experienced figures in dentistry.

You can put your questions about treatment directly to them and upload supporting material like patient photos, x-rays, scans and diagnostic imagery.

Once you post your question, we’ll assign your case to the appropriate mentor. You can rely on them for guidance on treatment throughout the lifetime of the case.

Your Questions

“My patient wants clear aligners. Can they expect good results?”

“Am I right to be concerned about black triangles?”

“Treatment isn’t progressing as planned. What are my options?”

IAS Mentoring

You’ll find all of the appliances covered in IAS Academy courses supported on the forum. So, mentoring is perfect for taking your first steps with the Inman Aligner or ClearSmile range to complement classroom learning.

Open-Source Mentoring

You’ll also find non-IAS appliances comprehensively supported on our Open-Source forum, with experts ready to guide you through treatment with the full range of fixed and removable systems including Invisalign, ClearCorrect, Six Month Smiles, Damon Braces, Incognito and many more.
